Mapple Powered Games just released a new trailer for their upcoming beat ’em up, G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra and with it a surprising release date annoucement. G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra will be available for Steam on September 26th. Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and GOG versions will be coming at a later date. Talking to the lead developer, he revealed to me that there were “some problems with the certification process on consoles, but nothing major.” And we all know how these companies can be picky sometimes. The trailer highlights some fan-favorite Joes to play as, and Cobras to fight against. Also, the game will have a couple of extra modes like an Arcade Mode and an Enemy Shuffle mode, which looks pretty interesting.
