Earlier today Eastasiasoft announced that the upcoming beat ’em up Maiden Cops, developed by Pippin Games is also coming to consoles. The game will arrive on Steam on the 23rd, as announced here, and the port for the consoles will come at a later date this year. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any news about a physical release. (You can cry, Chris!)
Take a look at the press release sent by Eastasiasoft:
Today we are thrilled to share that our eastasiasoft team will be in attendance at Tokyo Game Show 2024 and participating in the expo with booths dedicated to side-scrolling brawler Maiden Cops, shoot’em up Schildmaid MX and retro Japanese RPG Starlight Legacy.
This marks the first reveal that eastasiasoft has teamed up with Japanese indie developer Decafesoft to bring Starlight Legacy to consoles and PC, as well as the first official confirmation that we have once again teamed up with Brazilian studio and Wife Quest developer Pippin Games to port and publish Maiden Cops. Schildmaid MX has been shared in a previous video showcase and remains one of the most anticipated shoot’em ups scheduled for release by eastasiasoft, expected in late 2024.
We will be exhibiting in the Indie Game Area at booth number 09-W91. In addition to the three games on display, free giveaway items will be available including stickers, keychains and informational flyers. All attendees are welcome and encouraged to come meet our staff and play demos of Maiden Cops, Schildmaid MX and Starlight Legacy, which are all planned for release in the coming months.
